Hardware and Software Configuration

The following operating systems are supported:

• Windows 11
• Windows 10 (32 or 64 Bit) – Note: Spanish operating systems are supported.
• 8 GB RAM
• 20 GB of available hard drive space
• USB 2.0 port for the compatible adapter connection

The diagnostic software requires a compatible Windows-based PC, laptop, or tablet, a Noregon RP1210C-compliant adapter, and the appropriate cable that connects the computer to the vehicle’s OBD-II, 9-pin, or 6-pin port.

Installation and Activation Process

• Only one installation/license is covered by a single order.
• We offer detailed setup instructions or remote setup & activation using TeamViewer performed by our Support Team.
• You will receive the files for installation and activation.
• The NextStep Service and Repair Information aren’t included.

Supported Adapters and Cables

If you want to use the Auto-connect feature, only Noregon DLA+ 3.0, DLA+ 3.0 Wireless, DLA+ 2.0, DLA+ 2.0 Wireless, Trailer Diagnostic Adapter, DLA+, DLA+ Wireless, and DLA+ PLC adapters are supported.

Other brands' device selection is limited to devices that support at least two CAN channels.

Further Details about Adapters and Cables

• An adapter driver must be installed so the appropriate vehicle can connect to an adapter device. This installation is separate and independent of the JPRO Commercial Vehicle Diagnostics installation.
• The Noregon DLA+ 2.0, DLA+ 2.0 Wireless, DLA+, or DLA+ Wireless adapters must be connected to Ford, GM, Isuzu, or Sprinter Medium-Duty vehicles. Please ensure you have loaded the latest driver and firmware.
• Use the OBD-II cable for Ford (red).
• Connect the OBD-II cable for GM (yellow) to GM.
• To connect to Sprinter, use the OBD-II cable for Sprinter (blue for the DLA+ adapter family, gray for the DLA+ 2.0 adapter family).
• Use the generic OBD-II cable (blue or gray) to connect to Hino or Isuzu.
• The JPRO Off-Highway for Caterpillar only supports these adapters and cables:
  • Noregon DLA+ 2.0 or DLA+ 2.0 Wireless adapter
  • CAT 9-pin Off-Highway cable
  • CAT 14-pin Off-Highway cable
