A detailed description of the Isuzu Diagnostic Service System IDSS II

Welcome to the Isuzu Diagnostic Service System (IDSS II). Isuzu IDSS II is intended to be a step-by-step process guide for operators using IDSS II to diagnose various control modules on-vehicle, as well as capturing data. This guide is specifically to be used for Isuzu Medium Truck applications.

IDSS II is designed to support Isuzu Commercial Vehicles. With each new release of the IDSS II program, additional vehicle engine configurations and controller systems may be supported. In addition to the above, you get service bulletin for use, as well as diagrams and schemes that are easy to follow when performing maintenance or repairs.

Newsletters help troubleshoot. Some bulletins are intended to provide quick troubleshooting tips that the user can perform prior to contacting the technical support staff. When you install the Isuzu IDSS program, you get the opportunity to diagnose Isuzu equipment and get access to Isuzu service documentation, Isuzu wiring diagrams and technical bulletins for the Isuzu 1996–2018 models.

Also, the Nexiq USB Link Universal Diagnostic Scanner (2) is compatible with the Isuzu Diagnostic Service System (IDSS II) and minimizes costs for diagnostic equipment. Allows you to make diagnostics of almost all trucks at a professional level.

Notice important notes:
1. Altering or replacing the IDSS DLC Cable with non-Isuzu cables may cause the IDSS system to malfunction.
2. The Isuzu Diagnostic Service System Setup DVD is provided in case the system needs to be recovered.
